What it costs and how to book.
Every tier includes the full guided tour (approximately 2 hours), the Gibraltar Nature Reserve entry fee, and all stops — Europa Point, St Michael’s Cave, the Apes’ Den and Casemates Square. There are no hidden extras at the gate.
Essential covers the full tour and all entry fees. Premium adds chilled water on board and free cancellation up to 1 hour before departure. VIP adds a £35 meal voucher redeemable at a range of partner restaurants — handy if you want lunch sorted as well.
Children under 4 years old are free and do not require a ticket — they must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. For children aged 4 and above: Essential £25, Premium £25, VIP £35 per child.
No. The price you see is the price you pay — no third-party platform markup, no service fee, no card surcharge. Booking direct with us is always the best price on the Rock.
We accept all major debit and credit cards through SumUp’s secure checkout. We don’t store your card details on our servers.
Yes. Immediately after payment we send a booking confirmation with your receipt and a unique booking reference. Your tickets — including a QR code for the driver to scan on the day — arrive in the same email. Show them on your phone or print them out.
Yes. For private tours, family groups, school trips, cruise excursions or corporate days out, please get in touch. We’ll tailor the route, timing and pickup point to your party.
On the tour
What you’ll actually see and do.
The full route takes approximately 2 hours from pickup at the Airport to drop-off. You’ll spend around 20 minutes at Europa Point and 20 minutes inside St Michael’s Cave, with additional time at the Apes’ Den and other stops.
Every tour visits Europa Point with views across the Strait, the dramatic St Michael’s Cave, the Apes’ Den to meet the Barbary macaques, the Great Siege Tunnels, panoramic viewpoints high on the Rock, and a finish at Casemates Square in town.
We deliberately keep groups small. Our luxury, air-conditioned minibuses carry a comfortable maximum, so you’re never crammed in and you’ll always be close enough to your guide to hear the stories properly.
Yes — the macaques are wild and free-roaming, but they live around the Apes’ Den and other stops on the route, so sightings are virtually guaranteed. Your guide will explain how to behave around them safely (the short version: don’t feed them, and don’t bring a paper bag).
Absolutely — bring your camera. Just please don’t get too close to the macaques for selfies; they’re wild animals and will let you know if you’ve crossed the line.
Getting there
Meeting point, timing and the border.
We depart from the bus parking area at Gibraltar International Airport, just over the border. Please arrive a few minutes early — we leave on time. The tour ends back at the Airport, or you can opt to be dropped at Casemates Square in town.
Most guests staying in La Línea or the Costa del Sol simply walk across the border (5–10 minutes). Once you’re through Gibraltar passport control, the airport bus parking area is right there. Bring your passport — it’s required to cross the border in both directions.
Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure. Border queues can be unpredictable in peak season, so we recommend leaving extra buffer if you’re crossing on foot.
Call or message us straight away on the number in your confirmation email. We’ll do everything we can to wait, but the tour has to leave on time so we can deliver the full route within the 2-hour window. If we miss you, we’ll work with you on rescheduling under the terms of your tier.
There’s pay-and-display parking near the Airport and in town. Parking is limited in Gibraltar, so most guests find it easier to park in La Línea (Spain) and walk across the border.
Yes. We run tours year-round, including most public holidays. Gibraltar enjoys mild weather almost every day of the year, so there’s no real off-season — winter is one of the loveliest times to visit.
Gibraltar is on Central European Time (CET / CEST) — the same as Spain, France and Italy. That’s typically 1 hour ahead of the UK. All times in your confirmation are local Gibraltar time.
Changes & cancellations
If your plans change.
Each tier has its own refund window. Essential is refundable up to 24 hours after booking. Premium is refundable up to 1 hour before departure. VIP is refundable up to 1 hour before departure with priority rebooking on peak dates.
Yes — please contact us as early as you can. Premium and VIP guests can typically reschedule right up to 1 hour before departure, subject to availability on the new date.
Gibraltar enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year, so bad weather is rare. If we need to cancel due to extreme conditions, you’ll be offered a full refund or a rescheduled date. Light rain doesn’t stop us — the caves are spectacular in any weather.
Cancellations are very rare, but if it happens we contact every guest directly using the email and phone number on the booking. You’ll be offered a full refund or a free reschedule — whichever works better for you.
Refunds are issued back to the original card you paid with. Most banks show the refund within 3–5 working days of us processing it.
Accessibility & families
Travelling with kids, pushchairs or mobility needs.
Honestly: no — the minibus is not wheelchair accessible, and the route involves walking on uneven ground at the cave and viewpoints. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before booking and we’ll be straight with you about whether the tour is the right fit, or suggest an alternative.
Lightweight, foldable pushchairs are fine — we’ll stow them on the bus while you’re on board. The cave and some viewpoints involve steps, so a baby carrier is often easier than a buggy on those parts of the route.
Yes, with sensible care. The macaques are wild, so we ask everyone — children especially — to keep their distance, never feed them and avoid sudden movements. Your guide will give a quick safety briefing before the Apes’ Den stop.
Yes. There are toilet facilities at Casemates Square and at the Nature Reserve. Please use them at the stops — there’s no toilet on the bus.
Food is not included on our tours. However some tour tiers may include an experience at a local restaurant or wine bar - so look out for those! Otherwise, Casemates Square has plenty of cafés and restaurants for after drop-off.
Guides & languages
Who shows you the Rock.
All of our guides speak fluent English, and most of them also speak Spanish. If you’d like a tour in a specific language, mention it when booking and we’ll do our best to match you with the right guide.
Yes. We only employ Gibraltarian guides who grew up on the Rock — people who can tell you the real stories behind the place, not just the textbook ones. That local knowledge is the single biggest reason guests rate us so highly.
Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated if you’ve had a great time. Our guides are paid properly either way.
Practical bits
Passports, weather, currency and more.
Comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket (the cave is cooler than outside), sun cream and a hat in summer, and a reusable water bottle. Most importantly: your passport if coming from Spain - even if you’re a UK or EU citizen — you need it to cross. (However in July 2026 we expect the border to completely disappear).
It depends on your nationality. UK and most EU citizens enter freely with a passport. Other nationalities should check the Gibraltar Government’s official entry requirements before they travel.
Gibraltar uses the Gibraltar Pound (GIP), which is pegged 1:1 to the British Pound. Pounds Sterling are accepted everywhere, and most places also take Euros (though sometimes at a less favourable rate). Cards are widely accepted.
Mobile coverage is good across Gibraltar. UK roaming arrangements vary by operator — check with yours before you travel. Spanish SIMs typically pick up Gibraltar networks at standard EU roaming rates.
Your booking confirmation includes a direct contact number. If anything goes wrong — you can’t find the meeting point, you’re delayed at the border — call us straight away and we’ll sort it.
